Premium issuance by the insurance sector totaled 1Q02T9.71 trillion between January and April

The general insurance premiums generated in these four months was 1TP3Q4.65 billion, while in life it was 1TP3Q5.06 billion.

As for those with the highest growth, these were BMI Seguros (134,66%), Aurora Vida (50,22%), Pan American Life (33,57%), Seguros Bolívar (19,63%) and Sura (14,73%).

Carlos Sánchez, president of BMI Seguros, indicated that one of the reasons why they have continued to grow is because in the midst of the pandemic they have "made tools available to continue advising people on issues of insurability and financial projection."
