The most advisable thing is to use sunscreen that has filters for both types of radiation, UVA and UVB, in addition, the sun protection factor (SPF) must be calculated correctly, this will determine the effectiveness of the sun cream and the time that your skin it will be protected.

Each skin type needs a different SPF, but in general, these are the most recommended:

 * SPF 50 - Very fair skin. It always burns.

* SPF 30 - Fair skin. It burns frequently.

* SPF 15 - White skin. It burns sparingly and becomes pigmented.

* SPF 8 - Dark skin. It burns rarely and tans quickly.
