BMI Ecuador leader in health insurance and top 3 in the national ranking for customer service

The recognition of the quality of service provided to each client in Ecuador had very positive results. The latest PXI ranking, "Ecuador Customer Experience 2023," places BMI as the leader in the health insurance industry and in the top 3 nationwide. It is undoubtedly a recognition that we celebrate because it is a sample of the excellent work that our collaborators do and the loyalty of our clients.

This year for the PXI (Praxis Experience Index) ranking, 19,000 surveys were carried out throughout Ecuador, 63 brands were evaluated in 13 different economic sectors, and among this broad universe, BMI ranked as one of the companies with the highest valuation.

It is important to mention that to evaluate the experience, customers were asked about three main variables: effectiveness, ease, and emotion. The first was to find out if the client solved everything he needed, then if it was an easy experience, and finally if he felt well treated and cared for. The net values defined the averages of the 13 sectors evaluated and the most outstanding companies.

The recognition to BMI was delivered in Guayaquil by Vistazo and Expand magazine, representatives of the Chilean company Praxis in Ecuador (www.praxis.cl). According to Manuel Trujillo, executive president of BMI in Ecuador, the key to this recognition lies in the protection we provide to our clients, the shift we have made to being a client-centric company, and the quality of all our processes.

"The great challenge for health provider companies is to have all the processes and operations organized so that the client, when he uses the services more frequently, has the quality he expects—that quality that we have to demand from the service providers that have contact with the customer.

The leadership in health insurance It is not by chance, it is a continuous monitoring process that we carry out at BMI Ecuador and in all our offices. "We measure and evaluate medical providers all the time, since by not having their own hospitals and clinics, they must precisely guarantee the commitment of our brand and the excellence that we have to offer to clients," commented our executive president in Ecuador.

One of the lessons that the pandemic left behind was raising the awareness of clients about the importance of having health insurance that allows them to deal with any illness or accident, but also having the guarantee that when using this insurance, they will have the expected service.
