Driven by a willingness to help, Mindo Futures began its humanitarian work in 1972, and since then it has been charged with developing a wide variety of aid programs for the Mindo community in Ecuador. One of his great achievements is the founding of an orphanage where children are helped to complete their studies, in addition to providing them with all school supplies and clothing, they are guaranteed the teaching of the English language.
Likewise, Mindo Futures offers people from that town, who normally cannot access adequate medical care, the opportunity to undergo general check-ups, gynecology consultations, dental care, as well as other medical specialties. The foundation also offers university scholarships and develops new infrastructure projects for the benefit of the community. 
During the month of May, BMI joined the foundation to support its most recent medical campaign, where it should be noted that all members of the medical and nursing team are volunteers.
For our part, BMI was in charge of bringing more than 30 members of the Quito offices to provide extra help in the activities of the aforementioned campaign. Our colleagues took it upon themselves to support in all areas where support was required, such as pharmacy organization, food preparation, activity logistics, and meeting specific patient requests.
BMI's commitment to good causes will continue to be a fundamental part of corporate values. It fills us with pride to know that our workers are involved in these missions with the same dedication with which they carry out their daily work.
