In the presence of children, parents and volunteers from the Hermano Miguel Foundation of Quito, María Gracia and Ser Feliz Foundations of Guayaquil, $16,015.30 was donated to each of the charitable institutions. These funds were raised in the third edition of the BMI Run4Health race.

The Hermano Miguel Foundation will transform the occupational therapy area and will continue paying for treatments for patients at the Diabetic Foot Clinic. The Ser Feliz Foundation will also continue to provide food, diapers, toiletries, but mainly the equipment for the foundation's house, so that they do not have to pay rent and continue to contribute to the needs required by patients and their loved ones. The María Gracia Foundation will work to eradicate Chronic Childhood Malnutrition in our country. This support begins at the gestation stage of the mother, who will receive medical attention during pregnancy, adequate food and nutritional support for herself and the child until they are two years old; a primary stage for the comprehensive development of their physical and intellectual growth.

The BMI Run4Health race raised more than USD 48,000, thus continuing to fulfill the objective of collaborating with the social work of foundations and making this race a space that contributes to maintaining a healthy life. In this third edition in the cities of Quito and Guayaquil, more than 800 people participated, including runners, family members and friends, to support this cause. Among the 3 categories, the first 3 places were awarded for men and women in the 10K and 5K, aged 18 to 40 and 41 years and older; and in the 2K category for boys and girls, the first 3 places were awarded for ages 4 to 9 and 10 to 15 years.
We are currently preparing the fourth edition of the competition, which will take place in 2025. In this way, we continue with our Corporate Social Responsibility actions, focused on carrying out activities that generate a positive impact on the community.
