BMI puts at your disposal a 360 Comprehensive Medicine service that will allow you to take care of yourself and your family through: Access to medical consultation, medicines. No reimbursement process with your BMI plan.

Through a phone call you can request the home health care service with 24/7 availability.

If the patient's condition warrants it, the doctor may grant the certificate within a maximum of 24 hours.

The copay to pay for care is $12. This value cannot be refunded.

Process to request Doctor at home

To request the service you must call 1800 264 264 option 5.

An operator will answer your call and ask questions to assess the patient's health status and coordinate their visit.

If the doctor considers that you should be treated at a hospital, he or she may use the ambulance service*.

*Applies only when it compromises the patient's life

Medical Guidance

It has medical attention 24/7 by telephone with our General Practitioners who can provide you with services such as:

  • Guidance on COVID-19.
  • Adverse reactions to medication.
  • Contraindications or procedures to follow certain pathologies.
  • Advice in case of medical emergencies or preventive medicine.
  • Consult about any medication, intake schedule and time.

Nutrition Service

It has nutritional care, by appointment. The service applies in virtual mode for all cities and if in-person service is required, it is only available in the city of Quito (Shyris Branch). Access this nutritional appointment at no cost with our provider Avantmed.

  • You will have 1 consultation per month.
  • The client and/or dependent may schedule 1 monthly consultation per closed month or according to the specialist.
  • If the client wishes to carry out more than 1 consultation per month, they must pay a preferential value established by the specialist in virtual or face-to-face mode.
