2) Should I report my care abroad?

  1. It is necessary to notify care scheduled outside your country of residence at least 72 hours in advance by email. serviciobmiunique@bmicos.com

3) When paying securities abroad, what documents should I request?

  • Itemized Bill or details of securities and services

  • Receipt or proof of payment

4) Do I have to pay the charges or account statements that I receive from services abroad?

In the first instance no, the complete collection note must be sent to serviciobmiunique@bmicos.com for their respective review. 

5) Should I present the letter of guarantee on the day of my service?

No, since it was also sent to the supplier.

6) Who should I contact if I have a Travel Assistance?

7) Can I apply for credit for routine checkups?

No, since the benefit varies in each policy and is a limited amount. Must be handled under reimbursement.

8) How does the Global Reach Pharmacy Card work in the US?

  • To purchase specialized medications through credit, said purchase must be previously evaluated and authorized by the BMI UNIQUE team by sending the orders to the email servicebmiunique@bmicos.com, the process takes up to 72 hours. 
  • To access the list of pharmacies that accept the discount card within the United States, you can call Global Reach RX at the toll-free number1-800-882-7796 

9) Does the BMI ACCESS transportation service apply worldwide?

The service only applies within South Florida USA with prior coordination at least 48 hours in advance.
