Diet has been influenced by issues of daily life, such as constant haste and practicality when purchasing and consuming food.

1.- Watermelon seeds: although it is something few would have even considered, recent studies show that these seeds are rich in iron, vitamin B and proteins: excellent as a snack or to accompany your salads. They can even partially substitute for some of the benefits of meat.
2.- The Maca Root: in addition to complementing each other well in different dishes, whether with meat or not, this root contains proteins that increase energy from day to day.
3.- Chufa or Tigernut: it is a tuber that can accompany salads to give them a crunchy touch in terms of flavor. It can be beneficial to health due to its high amount of iron, vitamin E, and potassium. It is very low in calories.
