On the occasion of the celebration of World Cancer Day, a date that reminds us of the importance of having a healthy life and preventing diseases like this, which according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) it causes 8.2 million deaths on average each year. We want to tell you about some treatments that are currently being imposed and that could be the way to deal with a disease of this magnitude. We will talk about the methods that are being used to treat some of the most common cancers: breast, leukemia and prostate.
Breast cancer affects one in eight women globally and kills 522,000 on average each year, according to the CDC, prompting experts to create new treatments to combat this disease. Such is the case of systemic therapies, which have always been used to treat disorders and diseases acquired by alterations. These work punctually in the drugs that directly fight the cells that cause cancer in each patient, in this way they seek to displace strong treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation.
Although there are many causes that can develop any type of cancer, it is important that you get tests periodically, so in case you are diagnosed with this disease you can treat it in a timely manner.
