The Villa Nueva municipal fire brigade is one of the institutions that most helps the citizens of this town and its surroundings, however, despite belonging to a State entity, the lack of resources to reach more families and people in need It has always been a constant. In this sense, BMI Guatemala decided to make a contribution to the institution by donating 8 uniforms with the most emblematic insignia they use.
This initiative arose a couple of months ago when volunteer firefighters attended a landslide in Villa Nueva and three people were injured. However, these capeless heroes did not have the proper uniforms to be identified as members of the rescue corps.
BMI has been an ally of the institution and year after year makes donations to firefighters so that they can help the most vulnerable and needy sectors. In previous years, instruments were also donated to put out fires and help victims of automobile accidents, as well as gasoline and accessories for uniforms.
