BMI recently made a donation to RAD-AID Haiti and RAD-AID Nicaragua.
RAD-AID is a non-profit public service created to improve and optimize access to medical imaging and radiology in poor and developing regions of the world to increase the radiological contribution to global public health and patient care initiatives. .
By donating to RAD-AID, BMI contributed to:
-Training of health workers in Haiti
-Care for the health and health of women in Nicaragua by supporting medical services and training of health personnel
-Medical equipment in Nicaragua, such as ultrasound stations (using portable probes and sound waves to take diagnostic images of the body) along with the provision of health services.
