The non-profit foundation Mindo Futures It started its operations in 2007 but its beginnings date back to 1972 when the invaluable work of sister nun Lucia affectionately known as "La Chia" began by founding the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Tecnico Ecuador (UEFTE) school.
This foundation develops 3 programs for the town of Mindo, Ecuador, which offer logistical economic aid to the UEFTE school, give high school graduates the opportunity to continue their university studies and the medical mission that receives volunteers from the area every year. of health to attend to the medical needs of the children of the school, the inhabitants of the town of Mindo and the inhabitants of nearby towns.
BMI has actively participated together with its collaborators in the medical mission, traveling to the town of Mindo in Ecuador to volunteer and support the group of doctors, nurses and dentists who also support Mindo Futures.
Annual Kickball Tournament by Mindo Futures
The Annual Kickball Tournament led by Mindo Futures took place as every year on April 10, 2022. This tournament is intended to raise funds to help low-income people who are served by the foundation.
BMI collaborators voluntarily participated in the Kickball tournament and formed the BMI Warriors team, obtaining the award for the team with the most spirit. Participating in the tournament every year is an opportunity to share with the family and support this noble cause.
