The third edition of the BMI Run4Health race is about to start, consolidating itself as an initiative with a clear objective: to provide help to those who need it most. This year, the race will support three foundations: Hermano Miguel Foundation, Ser Feliz Foundation and María Gracia Foundation. The event is not only an opportunity to contribute to charitable causes, but also a perfect space to share with friends, family and even pets. Race details
The BMI Run4Health race will take place in Guayaquil and Quito. In the coastal city, the location is at the German Humboldt School in Ciudad Celeste, next August 24. While, in the capital, the race will be at La Palma Polo Club in Puembo, on September 22.
The race will offer three categories:
- 2km: Ideal for families, boys, girls and young people can participate here and must be accompanied by an adult.
- 5 km: Perfect for amateur runners looking for a moderate challenge.
- 10km: Designed for sports fans who want a more intense experience.
The pre-registration cost is $ 20 until August 5 for the race in Guayaquil and until August 30 for the race in Quito. After these dates, the cost will be $ 25.

Brother Miguel Foundation
It is an organization, located in Quito, that provides medical care, comprehensive rehabilitation to people with physical or functional disabilities, in addition to providing orthoses and prostheses. Being Happy Foundation
It is an organization, located in Guayaquil, whose promise is: “Not to let any child feel alone.” Currently, it supports more than 400 girls, boys, adolescents with cancer and their families. With the proceeds raised in previous editions, food supplements have been delivered, events have been held for Children's Day and the International Day against Childhood Cancer. Learn more here:
María Gracia Foundation
For this third edition, support is added for this foundation, located in Guayaquil, which began its charitable work 37 years ago. Together with them, the focus is on caring for the first 1,000 days of the little ones, to work against chronic childhood malnutrition, one of the biggest public health problems, according to Unicef.
