The Mindo Futures Foundation will have the support of the BMI insurance company

Every year the Mindo Futures organization holds the Kickball tournament to raise funds to help people with limited resources who are cared for at the foundation. This year BMI del Ecuador Compañía de Seguros de Vida SA, with its headquarters in the United States, will be an official sponsor of this competition in 2016, helping to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Mindo, Ecuador.
The Kickball game is a game where 2 teams of 8 to 11 players each participate, with 2 coaches, played on a field similar to baseball with 4 bases. Players must kick a large colored ball: red, blue or green; the team that scores the most runs is the winner.
This 2016, the Kickball Tournament will take place on Saturday April 9 in Miami, Florida. Wide participation is expected to raise funds for this noble cause. The BMI parent company will also participate in the tournament with a team made up of its collaborators. “We are very excited to be able to support a cause that takes care of what is most important: health,” said David Sierra, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of BMI Companies.
The Mindo Futures foundation has its beginnings in 1972, currently it works in three aid programs: Program of Miracles, Program Bridge and Medical Mission. The first two cover: efforts to improve general education and inclusion in the higher system; and the third, provides free medical care and medicines to the population of Mindo. This June, the medical mission will be accompanied by BMI collaborators who will support the volunteers in everything possible to, through temporary clinics, treat as many patients as possible.
For BMI, with operations in Ecuador since 1997, it is important to support foundations that contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants in areas of potential development such as Mindo.
