WOMEN AND HER REVOLUTION IN HISTORY

Table of Contents:

The role of women in society has been radically transformed in modern history, there is an increasing general rejection of gender distinctions that limit their full participation as individuals in all work activities and decision-making that determine the future of a nation.

Although the new generations have become a powerful ally in curbing gender discrimination by creating a new global awareness, the participation of women in the labor market compared to that of men continues to be unequal.

In the last 10 years, this trend has had a positive setback, since the economic empowerment of women has generated an increase in productivity within companies, in addition to solidifying corporate reputation, two points that translate into monetary gains . By increasing opportunities for women to reach leadership positions, companies benefit enormously, as it is proven that workspaces where three or more women hold senior executive functions perform higher in all organizational aspects.

According to studies carried out in OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) countries, the increase in the participation of women in the workforce produces faster economic growth in nations. These two points indicate the micro and macroeconomic importance of fair labor inclusion policies.

The list of women who have changed the course of human history is enormous and, however, many of them remain unknown, therefore, recognizing their work is a way of insisting on the need to give them the place they deserve as protagonists in the progress of humanity.

Here we tell you about three women of great relevance in different professional fields, get to know them and get inspired!
